SteamWorld Dig 2 Gets New Trailer

4.4
Today at the Nindies Summer Showcase 2017, Image & Form revealed that highly anticipated indie title SteamWorld Dig 2 would be getting a release fairly soon — specifically on September 21 as a timed exclusive.

The trailer (seen below) features the different environments, enemies, and abilities you will take on in the sequel to the indie darling. Along with that, you see some occasional above-surface dialogue and callbacks to protagonist Rusty from the first game.

SteamWorld Dig 2 was first revealed in late February in a previous Nindies Showcase, sans release date. While it was announced that the game was expected to launch in 2017, the original estimates were “Summer 2017.” The release date of September 21, 2017 is slightly outside of that window.

As mentioned above, SteamWorld Dig 2 will launch first on Nintendo Switch on September 21, 2017. The game will then be available in Early Fall for PC, Mac, Lunyx and PS4, with the possibility of the game coming to other platforms later. Check out the new PAX West trailer, below:

Craig Is it just me or do all Switch games look exactly the same? It's one reason why i can't seem to grasp why they are so popular at the minute.

I have the same problem with all these games, running along in 2D, so boring.
