You can now start pre-loading the Call of Duty WW2 private beta on PS4

Call of Duty: WW2 players who placed their pre-orders digitally through the PlayStation Store are now able to download the full beta.


The download comes in at just over 16GB. Those who pre-ordered at retail will still need a token from their retailer, which Activision is currently in the process of sending out.

You should receive yours no later than 10am PT, 1am ET, 6pm BST, 7pm CEST on Friday, August 25. This is also when the beta will go live, all the way until the same times on Monday, August 28.

As for Xbox One owners, who get the beta the following weekend, their pre-load kicks off on Tuesday, August 29 at 10am PT, 1am ET, 6pm BST, 7pm CEST.

The second and final round of the beta starts on Friday, September 1 at 10am PT, 1am ET, 6pm BST, 7pm CEST, and ends on Monday, September 4 at the same times. That weekend, the beta will run on both PS4, and Xbox One.

A PC beta is going to happen, but Activision has not said when.

As previously detailed, the beta’s content encompasses three maps, playable in Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Hardpoint. In addition, the game’s War mode will be available through the Breakout operation.

You’ll also be able to sample five Divisions and a number of weapons during the beta.
