Hacks: Kinect used to create giant virtual piano! of death?

Microsoft's Kinect hardware has been used to create a flying AI robot and a Predator stealth camouflage cloak, as well as being used as a motion controller for Super Mario Bros.

But the latest software to be created using the untethered Kinect hardware might just be the coolest yet.

OpenKinect Piano allows users to place a virtual keyboard on any surface. The size of the keyboard can also be modified, allowing well coordinated pianists (and Tom Hanks) to do crazy things like the video in the read more ;) slow news day people we had to find something!

these kind of hacks are good. Of course Microsoft does not like hacking but because of this kind of hacks they should be thinking about employing guys like them, to make Kinect better and make more games
