First up is Call of Duty: WWII, one of Activision’s biggest games of 2017. Convention attendees will be able to play the content coming in the private multiplayer beta ahead of that test’s global launch, and can see some of the new multiplayer maps and modes at the Sony PlayStation Booth. Attendees will also be able to experience Operation Breakout in the game’s new War Mode.
Destiny 2 will also make an appearance, with the game’s multiplayer Control mode available for some PVP at the Sony booth. PC players will be able to play the opening story campaign mission at the Destiny 2 booth.
Finally, the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will be playable for any fans who haven’t bought the collection of games yet. Of course, given the conspicuous inclusion of a game that’s already been out for several months, there’s a very good chance this will be when Activision finally chooses to confirm that the N. Sane Trilogy will be making the leap to Xbox One for the first time. Given the absurd number of leaks we’ve seen of late, it’s all but guaranteed.
Gamescom runs from Wednesday, August 23rd, to Saturday, August 26th.
