Update 1.7 for Tom Clancy’s The Division is now live across all platforms. The latest update includes modifications to gameplay, weapons, and introduces new features to the game including Global Events.

Originally announced last week, update 1.7 introduces Global Events; limited-time PvE events that reward players with exclusive gameplay modifiers and loot. The first Global Event has officially kicked off and those who will participate will be rewarded with tokens that can be used to buy Classified gear sets. Encrypted Caches have also been introduced and contain unique cosmetic items. These treasure chest can be opened by obtaining keys using real-world money or through gameplay.

Additionally, the massive update has added more customization features; the Base of Operations now allows agents to customize their face to their liking. On top of that, face masks have been added as a new cosmetic, which can be obtained through Global Events. Patches are also new and will be visible on your agent’s arm, to access them, players are required to complete specific Commendations. Commendations offer new objectives for players to complete, rewarding you with in-game loot.

Several other minor changes to the game include modifications to the DLC expansions as well as the ability to share blueprints, currency, and crafting materials across characters.
