New Destiny 2 Trailer Shows Kill-Tracker Ghost

4.3
Gotta love retailer-specific pre-order bonuses… Or maybe not. Yet, whether you like them or not (personally, I despise them), Destiny 2 will come with a rather interesting and somewhat more-than-cosmetic one, and now you can see it in action.

The Kill-Tracker Ghost doesn’t just have a spiffy paint job. It actually tracks your kills in two separate counts for PvP and campaign. Yesterday a few retailers (including Game in the U.K., that published the video below) released a new trailer showing the little floating critter in action. It basically does exactly what it says on the tin, displaying your PvP kill count on top and your campaign tally on the bottom of the screen.

Luckily, the bonus is less retailed-exclusive of what the slightly misleading ad would make you believe. You will get the ghost with all digital pre-orders on PlayStation Store, Xbox Store and Battle-net, alongside the Coldheart Exotic Trace Rifle introduced yesterday, and a salute emote (because emotes and dances are vital in Destiny. Fact).

If you want a physical copy of the game and the kill-counting ghost, things are a bit more muddled, as you’ll have to pick the right retailer, which includes GameStop in the United States and a bunch of European Countries and Game in the U.K.).

You can enjoy the video out below. If you want to see more, you can check out videos showing “The Farm” social space from the recently-concluded open beta, a gallery of a screenshots from E3, a trailer showcasing temporary exclusive content (for about a year) for PS4, and read our hands-on preview of the upcoming game.

The game will release on PS4 and Xbox One on September 6th, and on PC on October 24th.

I'm with the article writer why do they make it shop related pre-orders? Bonus looks alright though.
