Xbox One backward compatibility program adds two more classic games

4.1
Two new games are joining to the ever-growing list of Xbox One backward compatible titles today.

First up is Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon, a shooter that charges you with defending the fictional city of New Detroit against waves of giant insect aliens and robots. Lead your team, Strike Force Lightning, across the city in order to beat the Queen once and for all.

Next is F1 2014, a racing game that puts you behind the wheel of turbocharged Formula One cars. At launch, this game was supposed to appear on both the Xbox One and Xbox 360, but plans for the former were cancelled. Finally, the game can have its proper debut on a modern console.

Both games should become available sometime today, July 11th, if they’re not already live for you. Don’t forget to check out the full list of Xbox One backward compatible titles over at Major Nelson’s site.

Never did play Defense Force: Insect Armageddon, but it does look alright, but really would be awesome to play F1 2014 again as it was a great game.

Wouldn't really call these "classics" far from it
None of these interest me whatsoever

F1 game seems like fun and might be enjoyable but this other game I've never even heard of in my life.

SakonPosted:

Eh, neither of these interest me. Both seem like trash.

F1 2014 was fun to play at my uncles house when I babysat his kids. They wanted to play Minecraft but they weren't in charge haha.

I kinda wanna know when they are going to start adding actual substantial games to backwards compat instead of shit games.
