PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Gets New Patch; Adds New Server

4.1
Developer Bluehole has revealed a brand new patch coming to its hit game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.

The update is relatively small, however a notable highlight is that of a Southeast Asian server. In addition to that, there are also a myriad of bugs that have been fixed. Players will not be able to clip through walls in a certain gas station, they will no longer be able to get out of their vehicles when they are blocked in, sniper scope crosshairs won’t become blurry if your game is set to certain settings, vehicle tire tracks will now change immediately depending on what terrain you’re driving on, and more.

You can check out the full list of changes below:

General

  • Added SEA (Southeast Asia) server

Client Performance

  • Improved UI performance

Bug fixes

  • Fixed a bug that caused a character to walk through gas station wall
  • Fixed a bug that caused a character to stand on top of tunnel after getting out of motorbike inside of tunnel
  • You can no longer get out of a vehicle, if the vehicle is blocked all the way around
  • Fixed a bug that made a teammate’s weapon invisible in spectator mode
  • Fixed an issue of the scope crosshair appearing blurry when post-processing quality is set to high
  • Adjusted GROZA rail to better fit Holographic Sight and Red Dot Sight
  • Fixed a bug that caused ammo not to drop after dropping Extended Mag with full Backpack
  • Vehicle tire effects will change immediately when the vehicle is on a different type of ground now

The patch is available in the game’s test servers right now, and should be available everywhere starting tomorrow.

Yesterday, via Twitter, the Creative Director at Bluehole revealed a first look at a new desert map coming to game soon. Back in June, it was announced that the game had sold over four million copies.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is a first-person, battle royale style shooter where players will need to scavenge for supplies while at the same time avoiding being killed.

It’s currently a part of Steam’s Early Access program, and is set to be fully released on Windows PC and Xbox One sometime in 2017. While a PlayStation 4 version has not been officially announced, it has been teased a few times.

I've seen this game and it does look amazing in my eyes. I just don't have a good enough computer to run it the way I would like.
