Microsoft Explains Why Gamers Should Buy Xbox One X Over The PS4 Pro

The Xbox One X may be far more powerful than the PS4 Pro- but the PS4 Pro has the benefit of being cheaper, with more games supporting it, and the backing of the PS4’s exclusives library. So why would the average customer pick up the more expensive Xbox One X?

Speaking to EPNdotTV after E3, Microsoft’s Aaron Greenberg tackled that question head on. “Well, I’d say if you want true 4K gaming, it requires 6TFLOPs of power, we have 43% more graphical power, over 60% more memory we make available to developers,” he said. “But the most important thing is, whether you’re a hockey fan, a racing fan, an RPG fan, whatever game you want to play, it will look and play better on the Xbox One X, because we bring significantly more power to the table.”

Which is a sensible stance to take- but will I want to spend $500 to play games I already can play, but with more lines and dots on my screen? I would not, and my PS4 is more than enough for me in such a case. But maybe you feel different? Let us know in the comments section below.

Well they don't need to explain, ive been an xbox guy since 360 was released. PS is just too awful, and those arthritis causing controllers are the worst

kerrry I just don't see how the PS4 Pro is gonna sell any consoles at all, Xbox One X is the ultimate console, PS4 Pro won't keep up.

If that were true, Nintendo would have been gone long ago. Given the Wii U sales, they would be gone if that logic applies. There are people who like PlayStation, people who like Microsoft. Both have their version exclusives and both have their own fanbase. PS4 is fine, just like Xbox is fine.

I think the editor of this article is perfectly in the lines of presenting unbiased information. The first two paragraphs explore the power of the Xbox One X to the Pro and you can clearly tell that he didn't change/manipulate the information to favor the Pro. In the last paragraph, he simply gave his opinion and wanted to know what others thought.

Kudos to editor, didn't take away from the post ( in my opinion ).

But it doesn't even sound like he's playing on the PS4 pro at the end so how does he have an opinion on the pro vs Xbox one x?
