Beta access starts first for any PlayStation 4 owner that pre-ordered the game, opening the gates for those select few on July 18th. Early access begins for Xbox One players on the 19th, and both early access betas run until July 20th, giving PlayStation 4 players one extra day. Once those betas have concluded, the game will open up again for all players on both consoles between July 21st and July 23rd. PC players, unfortunately, will have to wait until sometime in August to get their chance.
PlayStation 4 players who have pre-ordered a digital version may have also recently learned of Destiny 2’s preload date, updated on the game’s countdown page. These players can start downloading the game on September 3rd, but dates for Xbox One and PC preload have yet to be announced.
Destiny 2 is slated to launch September 6th on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with a PC release date of October 24th.
