PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds dev is open to cross-network play

In a recent interview with VG24/7, Bluehole Studios executive producer Chang Han Kim revealed that the development team is interested in cross-network play between PC and consoles.

“Cross network play between the PC and the console is definitely something we want to do down the road, and we don’t anticipate we’ll have any technical issues with that,” he said.

However, he added the caveat that there is still the issue of balance between controllers and keyboard/mouse to consider, and that is why it won’t be happening straight away when the Xbox One version launches.

“But… when you consider the competitive side of the game, I do feel that there’s a balance issue between controllers and keyboard and mouse. That’s what’s making it difficult for us to do right away,” Kim explained. “If we’re going to allow players to use controllers we need to have the aim assist added in and things like that. We’re not going to be supporting it right away, but it’s something we’d like to look into later.”

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is available now on PC and will be coming to Xbox One later this year. A PlayStation 4 version is still being considered, but nothing has been confirmed.

That would be cool! but like they said and what i think, it is a competitive sided game for most and honestly Mouse&Keyboard > Controller. But i like the idea and hope to see it happen tbh
