Halo 6 Will Not Be Shown Off At Gamescom Or PAX, 343 Confirms

Halo 6 was not at E3 this year, but if you are still holding out hope that the game will be shown off later this year, maybe at Gamescom or PAX, you best give it up. Apparently, 343 Industries have no plans of revealing the next Halo game any time soon.

“It’s been made clear that we won’t be talking about Halo’s next major title for quite some time. And no, that doesn’t mean Gamescom. Or PAX. Trust us, when we’re ready to begin pulling back that proverbial curtain, you’ll know. It won’t be soon,” they said on a blog post at Halo WayPoint.
Halo 5: Guardians released in 2015 on the Xbox One- since then, there hasn’t been a peep from the franchise regarding mainline games, not even a PC port. Admittedly, Halo Wars 2 was released earlier this year, but that is not the game that Halo fans are waiting for. Maybe 343 Industries will want to take their time with this game, to overhaul the franchise significantly.

I haven't played through halo since 3, I heard 4 & 5 were good but I never got to play them. Hopefully 6 is a good game for all the Halo fans.

I like Halo 4 and 5, they aren't Halo 3 for sure but they are still fun to play, I feel if they just got rid of the movement they brought in and went back to a much more simpler Halo 3 style where you are peeking walls instead of dodge rolling and slamming off high peaks, weird style of combat that I feel is too hard for the regular gamer, would be great to see a lot of people come back to halo again.

At least they constantly update Halo 5 with maps and things. If you want to play real halo get Destiny.

Not surprised. They messed up with 5. 4 wasn't half as bad as some people made it out to be. They just aren't up to par as Bungle ever was.
