Xbox Game Pass Will Have At Least Five New Games a Month

4.4
Yesterday, during Xbox Daily: Live @ E3 Microsoft revealed a few interesting tidbits about its recently launched Xbox Game Pass.

For those that don’t know: Xbox Game Pass is a Netflix-like subscription service, that release back on June 1st. Pitched as a gaming subscription service that grants unlimited access to Xbox One and backward compatible Xbox 360 games (and presumably now original Xbox game as well) for $9.99 USD a month. Each month new games are introduced, while a few older ones are cycled out, maintaining a constantly fresh library.

Notably, Xbox Game Pass is not a streaming service like Netflix or PlayStation Now: you actually download games right onto your system. Like other subscription services, you don’t own anything though, rather you will always have a library of games at your fingertips as long as you stay subscribed.

That being said, during the aforementioned Xbox Daily, Microsoft revealed for the first-time that new games to the service will be added on the first of every month, and that a minimum of at least five games will be added each month.

Further, it was reiterated that most games will stay each month, with none leaving the service at least until November.

You can check out the game’s full line-up of games it launched with (it’s over 100) here.

Available on Xbox One, Game Pass is only purchasable at a monthly subscription rate at the above mentioned price.

Still don't think this will be something I'll be getting.

In my eyes that's 5000 gamerscore per month which I want, gonna be subscribing to this.

As long as a game keeps you busy for a few hour's i consider it a good buy and for $10 a month it's good i think! Several games for $10

I think the game pass is a great thing, and if it has games in there you love/enjoy how can you go wrong, spending $10 a month.

For $10 you can't really go wrong to be honest. Even if one of games is AAA title or atleast something you will play for 25 hours + it's 100% worth it

This might give people the incentive to look into the games pass. I made use of the 14 day trial we got given. Mainly used it for Halo 5.

I love the idea of games running in a cycle like Netflix. Who knows what kind of gems you can get from it, very affordable price as well.
