Microsoft have "no plans" for a new Xbox right now

Microsoft have told us time and time again that their new Kinect motion device is being treated as a whole new platform. That's nice and all, but what about a whole new Xbox with superior graphics etc? "No plans" for that right now says Xbox UK boss Stephen McGill.

"We've no plans for another Xbox. You'll continue to see us bring amazing new experiences to the console, without you having to buy a brand new console. A couple of years ago we didn’t have movies, Sky, Facebook and Twitter – now we’ve got things like Kinect."

Sounds like MS are trying to think outside the box: "We'll continue to evolve those gaming and entertainment experiences through the power of software updates, rather than new chipsets and plastic."

loonyface Im pretty sure that M$ will have plans for a new 360 when were all buying the PS4.

They need to snap out of all these money grabbing schemes and listen to their community, We WANT A NEW CONSOLE! xbox 360 is becoming old and is loosing what it was in the beginning, A gaming platform.

the xbox 360 will beat the playstation 4 and 5 cuz ps3 sux ballz

A new console isn't going to bring any new features. We have everything we need on the 360. A new console would only stop modding ;)
