E3 2017: Ubisoft Recap, Mario, Assassin's Creed Origin, The Crew 2

Today, during Ubisoft’s E3 2017 press conference, the publisher shared more of its upcoming action adventure Assassin’s Creed Origins.

Assassin’s Creed Origins is set in Egypt during the reign of Cleopatra, and it basically does what it says on the tin, elaborating on the origins of the Assassins.

While we saw a lot of the game yesterday, a presence at today’s press conference was predictable, and in fact here it is.

Ubisoft announced Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle at its E3 2017 presentation with Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto taking the stage.

The Switch title Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is a turn-based, adventure-RPG that supports two-players in local co-op.

Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, and Peach star in the game and Rabbids will dress like them. The Rabbids and the MArio characters will be working together to “save the Mushroom Kingdom” against Rabbids which have “turned bad.”

during Ubisoft’s E3 2017 press briefing, the publisher revealed the previously teased The Crew sequel, aptly titled The Crew 2.

The game will come to PS4, Xbox One and PC in Early 2018.

The Crew 2 was teased back in May, alongside Assassin’s Creed Origins (which at the time did not have a confirmed name just yet), and Far Cry 5.

While the original The Crew had a slightly rocky start, it still managed to pick up and reach 12 million registered players, which apparently gave Ubisoft the confidence to push a sequel. It certainly had potential, and I’m quite eager to see how Ubisoft elaborated on it for the new game.

Back in May, Ubisoft finally stamped South Park: The Fractured But Whole with an October 17th release, after a series of delays.

As you may know, the outrageous RPG is notably being developed by Ubisoft San Francisco, replacing Obsidian Entertainment, who developed the game’s predecessor: South Park: The Stick of the Truth, one of 2014’s best releases. The game was first announced at Ubisoft’s E3 2015 press conference

during Ubisoft’s E3 2017 press conference, the publisher announced its previously teased new IP.

The game is titled Skull and Bones, and it’s an open world multiplayer pirates game.

It was supposed to be released before March 31st, 2018, but Ubisoft decided to give it more time in the oven and release it in the next fiscal year.

Back at the latest investor conference call, CFO Alain Martinez defined it “a multiplayer game with strong live operations.”

Ubisoft did a great job with their conference and revealed so amazing games, the ones that interest me the most were, The Crew 2, Mario + Rabbids, Assassins Creed Origins, and of course Far Cry 5 which just looks brilliant, and was amazing to see some gameplay from Dan Hay himself.
