E3 2017: The Crew 2 Revealed at Ubisoft’s Press Conference

4.3
Today, during Ubisoft’s E3 2017 press briefing, the publisher revealed the previously teased The Crew sequel, aptly titled The Crew 2.

The game will come to PS4, Xbox One and PC in Early 2018.

The Crew 2 was teased back in May, alongside Assassin’s Creed Origins (which at the time did not have a confirmed name just yet), and Far Cry 5.

While the original The Crew had a slightly rocky start, it still managed to pick up and reach 12 million registered players, which apparently gave Ubisoft the confidence to push a sequel. It certainly had potential, and I’m quite eager to see how Ubisoft elaborated on it for the new game.

You can check out the announcement trailer below.

I bought the original but never played it, watched friends who had it and it just didn't really appeal to me after that. I love the idea but the world seemed excessively plain and boring when away from landmarks/areas of interest which made it feel incomplete. Obviously being such a big game, it'd take a lot to make every aspect of it look visually amazing and different wherever you go but I guess i'm just a bit too picky.

Graphics look awesome, but it's a cinematic video so i'll reserve judgement until gameplay is out.

Watching the gameplay video after the trailer, it looks awesome. Helicopters, planes, boats, and offroad buggies. Instantly can go from plane to boat and land in the water to keep going. Ramps to drive on rooftops. I only question why the world was bending like it was in Doctor Strange, but it looks very fun.

This game is gonna be fun just like the first one, The only thing about the first one was if the server went down you could not play offline, There was never a offline mode it was always online. Which didn't really interest me. But hopefully this one has it.

I lost interest in the first iteration of the game after I 100%'ed it in 3 days. Continued playing for a little after completion but ended up trading it for Witcher 3. Wasn't really interested in the DLC ; Calling All Units either. Hopefully this has a longer storyline if any at all. The first one for what it was, I relatively enjoyed.

The First Crew wasm't all that special and to be honest i don't think this one will be either, I was hyped for the first one it looked so good but then it got released and wasn't any good, The second one could be better but if its anything like the first then i won't be getting it.

I couldn't get into the first one it really did do it for me... Maybe it's like watch dogs, the first one was meh and the second was way better (Thanks, Wrench) but who knows.

almost 100% the first crew. Im hoping the world will be even bigger with better cars. Seriously, Im hyped for this game. Love this trailer and the effects they did to it. Im also guessing there will be plane races too.
