E3 2017: Xbox One X Price Officially Announced, it’s $499

4.3
Today, during Microsoft’s E3 2017 press briefing, the house of Xbox revealed the price of the newly announced Xbox One X.

The console will retail at $499.99.

Xbox One X will be the “smallest Xbox console ever,” and comes with a lot of horsepower under its hood (at least for a console), including a CPU/GPU combo capable to deliver 6 teraFLOPS of computing power, 12 gigabytes of GDDR5 RAM, a one terabyte hard disk drive, and a 4K ultra HD Blu-ray disk driver. It’s said to be able to deliver true 4K games to the console space.

It’ll be certainly interesting to see how widely Xbox One X will be embraced by the audience, and whether the market will welcome and reward its combination between power and pricing or not.

-Jord Is there any confirmation on what the UK price will be?

Microsoft Store has it listed at £449.99. Probably will be 20-30 cheaper with retail stores.

Not a bad price at all I was expecting it to be somewhere around the price range of 600-750, That's a fair price for everyone.

Definitely not a bad price imo, I'll be buying it.

The price isn't super high for what you are getting, more than likely I'll be getting this day 1.

That is reasonably prices, compared to what I had in my head originally. I better start saving before all of the new titles are released!

Like everyone has mentioned, this price isn't that bad from what expectations were.

Definitely priced it competitively. I remember Sony wished Microsoft "good luck," which could be seen as them trying to intimidate Microsoft, but given what Xbox One X was shown and it's price point; compared to what Xbox One had at launch and for the same price, I think Microsoft has priced competitively. We'll have to see what Sony has in stock, however I am more excited for Sony games; more so The Last of Us 2, which will have me buying a console for the first time in like 4 years.

I think this is a lot less pricey than what most expected! You guys think Sony is gonna try and compete with this new console or not?
