E3 2017: Original Xbox games coming to Xbox Backwards Compatibility

Today, during Microsoft’s E3 2017 press briefing, Phil Spencer announced that he has heard our feedback and he is proud to announced that the Xbox team is hard at work to bring original Xbox games to the Xbox Backwards Compatibility program.

Crimson Skies is one of the confirmed games coming. Original Xbox games are set to come later this year.

kerrry Probably going to be a digital only program, would be great to play discs on the one x but we'll see I suppose.

I wouldn't put it past them, they managed to get 360 discs to work.

Cant wait for this to launch this year, but like above said, FIFA street, Burnout and Simpson H&R, 3 great great games from childhood

I just got Simpsons Hit & Run on my RGH but I'd love for it to become backwards compatible on the One.

This is huge. My reaction was amazing on stream, I hope the original Xbox boot up screen is there too :p
