BioWare’s New Game Revealed: Anthem; Teaser Trailer Released

4.2
Today, at Electronic Arts’ EA Play press conference, BioWare finally unveiled its new IP, that used to be code named “Dylan.”

The title is Anthem.

The game is a mix of action RPG, massively multiplayer online game, and BioWare storytelling.

According to what was shared in the latest investor conference call, the game will be released during fiscal year 2019, which means between April 1st, 2018, and March 31st, 2019. It was initially slated for release during the current fiscal year, but the publisher decided to give it more time in the oven.

A while ago, Electronic Arts CEO Andrew Wilson also was teased that it’ll “fundamentally disrupt the way people think about an action title, bringing friends together to play in an exhilarating new way.”

This is actually just a tease, and more will be shown tomorrow at Microsoft’s press conference. While no platforms have been announced, this probably means that the game will probably be at least on Xbox One and Windows 10.

Doesn't look too bad, maybe worth a buy the trailer does look pretty sweet.

Didn't seem like a game that would interest me that much.

Pretty creepy looking but definitely looks interesting.

Strange but interesting trailer. Have a feeling this will do well. Hopefully another, more detailed trailer drops.

So I'm guessing this is going to be a possible cyber-esque mmo versus animals/monsters. I'm hoping it's more towards normal RPG standards rather than MMOs; I am always disappointed by MMO standards.
