How Call of Duty: WWII may still support health regen after all

4.3
Call of Duty’s classic health regeneration will no longer be a crutch for players in the upcoming Call of Duty: WWII single-player campaign, but the shooter’s multiplayer could still possibly support the feature.

Call of Duty: WWII‘s abandonment of health regeneration in the campaign was first revealed by co-founder Glen Schofield during interviews shortly following the game’s reveal, but fans were left to wonder if this new direction would translate to multiplayer as well. Gaming outlet Gamer Professionals, in a hands-on writeup of the game, reported that multiplayer would also do away with auto-heal, but the arguably more reputable Call of Duty outlet Charlie Intel recently labeled the claim as “fake news.”

Neither source’s information has been officially confirmed by publisher Activision or developer Sledgehammer Games. Fans will have to wait until Activision’s multiplayer demo at this year’s E3 to know for sure what direction the multiplayer is taking. Accounting for the reliability of the source, as well as the practicality of the information in terms of how Call of Duty multiplayer operated in the past, Charlie Intel’s stance seems the most believable as of now.

I think having no health regen would change the game a lot in terms of playstyle and would make it a lot harder for campers.

Uzi So what exactly are they replacing health regen with? I'm assuming it means our character's health doesn't regenerate at all and once we die from being hit too often then we're placed back at the last save point?

No, from what I'm hearing, they are going the medic route like Battlefield series in campaign. Although, I doubt this is how it will work in multiplayer.
