Tekken 7 Trailer Offers an Overview of Its Features

4.4
With Tekken 7 set to launch on PC and consoles later this week, Bandai Namco Entertainment has decided to put out a brand new trailer to get fans primed for the forthcoming port of the arcade title by offering an overview for practically all of the release’s features. In addition to the gameplay elements shown off in the fresh video, the publisher and developer has also reminded fans that those who pre-order the title will get Eliza as a playable character on day one.

As seen below in the latest trailer for Tekken 7, the first feature that gets highlighted is the game’s Rage Art abilities, which are armored special moves that allow players to inflict huge amounts of damage on their opponents to turn the tides of battle in their favor. Following this, the title’s Rage Drive aspect is touched on, showing how fans can pull off unique tactical maneuvers, as these are character specific moves.

In addition to the Rage system, Tekken 7‘s latest trailer also highlights the Power Crush armor move, how the title allows for “epic” match-ending slow motion sequences, and the dynamic stages that players can experience. As far as the lattermost feature is concerned, each level will let fans experience time of day, weather, stage, and music changes throughout the course of the battle.

Of course, one feature shown off in the trailer that Tekken 7 fans are looking forward to the most is “The Mishima Saga” story mode, and the newest video highlights it with glimpses at certain chapters and cinematic footage that transitions directly into combat. The initial clip displaying such begins with guest character Akuma taking on the franchise’s long-time villain and antihero Kazuya Mishima on top of the roof of a building near a helipad.

What I enjoy about the Tekken series is that it feels like such an arcade as all fighting games look to me.
