Despite the sheer excitement leading up to the recent launch of Friday the 13th: The Game, most fans of the title have encountered nothing but disappointment since its release due to a litany of bugs, and the ever-persistent plethora of server connection problems. That said, though, it looks like Xbox One players are receiving the shortest end of the stick, as the title on the Microsoft console has yet to receive a crucial day one patch to update it from the beta version.

As seen in the images below from a post on Friday the 13th: The Game‘s forums, one player has made a few comparisons of menu features that points out how the Xbox One version (shown in the second still) doesn’t look as good as its PC and PlayStation 4 counterparts. Not to mention, there are plenty of other fans reporting that the horror title is continually crashing on the Microsoft system and lacks a lot of important graphics features such as dynamic hair effects to further assist in making the game look more realistic.

According to developers in the official Friday the 13th: The Game Discord server, the title’s day one patch is only missing on the Xbox One version. With this being the case, the team is currently working with Microsoft to resolve the issue as soon as possible. However, with it being Memorial Day weekend, fans should expect the patch to most likely drop sometime tomorrow on Tuesday, May 30, 2017.
