Early Feedback on Xbox Game Pass Has Been Really Strong - Microsoft

4.4
The Xbox Game Pass launches for everyone on June 1, but it is already available for Xbox Live Gold subscribers. The subscription service functions a lot like EA Access- it lets you access, without restrictions, a library of 100 games on the Xbox One.

Speaking on Twitter, Phil Spencer said that the early feedback on the Xbox Game Pass has been really strong. He also spoke about how the service may be structured in the future, noting that new games will be added to the service every month, some will be removed, and that in general, most games will stay on the service for several months at a time, giving everyone interested enough time to try them out. It sounds a lot like how Netflix cycles movies and TV shows in its catalog, actually.

It is good to see the Game Pass being received so well, because this could admittedly be a major method of games distribution in the future. Hopefully, Microsoft continues to develop the concept in the coming months and years.

Sound's like a pretty good idea. I think if they added games on there release dates then more people would buy into it

Not too bad of a deal, might have to take it up.

This is one hell of a deal for only 10.

I like the idea but the XB1 games aren't worth the monthly subscription.

So if they take a game off the subscription list are you still able to play the game if you downloaded it and played it while it was on the list?

illume Not being funny right but the games they have added include games you got for free with GWG. I am not willing to spend more money on something I got given for free a while back. Even if it is "only $10 a month"

Not everyone has gotten all of these games from GwG. And I'm sure the library will be ever expanding so it will be very worth it in a couple months.

Mr_Robot I dont like this game pass thing. I like the traditional way of things

It's smart from their perspective tho. I like subscription services tbh. I find more entertainment out of them compared to one 60$ game. Plus the change in catelog will be nice.
