Call of Duty: WWII gets rid of unlimited sprint

4.1
Call of Duty: WWII will remove the unlimited spring ability that has been in the last three game, according to Sledgehammer Games’ Michael Condrey.

Responding to a question on Twitter about the ability being in the game, Condrey simply replied, “Nope.”

The last three games in the series have all had unlimited spring as the default, while Call of Duty games before those offered it as a perk. Condrey didn’t clarify if unlimited sprint is completely gone or if it will be a perk in Call of Duty: WWII. One thing is for certain, this change will have a big affect on how the game feels.

Earlier this week, Sledgehammer revealed that the Battle of the Bulge will feature in the game’s campaign.

Call of Duty: WWII hits Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on November 3rd, 2017.

Damn, wonder if it's gonna effect how a person plays in multiplayer now.

Marathon when introduced was a nice change but I do prefer not having unlimited sprint.

hate that people are hating, change is good because they're only making it more realistic in a way... can't wait to try these new features out.

Yin I liked unlimited sprint. It was one of the few things that I hoped would always stick around. It just made sense. What doesn't is soldiers only being able to run for a few seconds at a time.

In 1945 it makes more sense to run for 5 seconds than to run forever.... I dont see where youre getting your logic from. Lol

Back to OP it would make sense that unlimited sprint isnt in the game. Maybe as a perk but thats it.

I would think soldiers had some training and could run for a few minutes at least. I know that isn't unlimited, but that'd be close considering how long the games last.
