More evidence emerges that Call of Duty: WWII is coming to Switch

4.2
A change to the Call of Duty website may be another clue that Call of Duty: WWII will release on the Nintendo Switch.

Our first hint came from Beenox, a developer that’s created ports for both Wii and Wii U games and past Call of Duty titles. Earlier this week, the studio sent out a Tweet showing members of the team meeting with representatives from the Canadian Armed Forces. Apparently, the Beenox team asked the representatives about their experience and their job, presumably to gather information for an upcoming project.

Next, fans noticed that some text in the official reveal trailer for Call of Duty: WWII hinted that the “actual platform availability [is] subject to change.” This means that platforms not mentioned in the trailer (hint: the Nintendo Switch) could also support the game.

Now, Activision has updated the Call of Duty website. On one page, players can link their accounts to their Call of Duty profiles. Previously, only PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, and Steam accounts could be linked—but now, there’s an option to “Link with Nintendo Account.” And, to be clear, this wasn’t an option that was available for past Call of Duty game launches, even if those games did eventually make their way onto Nintendo platforms.

Despite these hints, Activision hasn’t made any kind of official announcement yet. Remember that even though the clues are there, nothing’s been confirmed.

Call of Duty: WWII launches on November 3rd for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC. And, you know, maybe something else, too.

If this is true I can say I will be 100% getting it for the switch, I just hope the graphics hold up.

Very early to be implementing this IMO, but rumours saying its coming to Switch, it could be. Just have to wait and see how well it does.
