Xbox App Gets New Update; New Beta Version Adds Custom Gamerpics

4.7
Today Microsoft released a new version of the official Xbox App for Android and iOS, bringing new features to the table.

official patch notes:
Activity Feed content can now be filtered
Ability to unfollow a club or game hub from the Activity Feed
LFGs will now show up in the Activity Feed
Receive Arena tournament notifications

If you feel a bit more adventurous, you can opt for the beta version (available only for Android here), which received an additional feature, allowing you to set your custom gamerpic directly from your smartphone.

You can see a screenshot below, with the “Choose a custom picture” option, which isn’t available on the standard, non-beta version of the app.

Custom gamer pics? Took a while but it's good because all the default ones are pretty bad imo.

Not sure why Xbox didn't introduce custom pics way back. Such a good idea which was asked for by like every single Xbox user on this planet, That aside, glad they've finally introduced it.
