As you may know, last week 343 Industries’ community manager Brian Jarrard took to Reddit to reveal that Halo 6 will not be at E3 2017. However, the community manager did say the developer will have “a little something” to reveal for a different project.

That being said, having already released “Anniversary” editions for Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2 (and the fact that this year marks its 10 year anniversary) the internet did what the internet does and took off in speculation that a similar Anniversary edition for Halo 3 was coming. Well, that’s not the case, at least not yet.

Writing once again on Reddit, Jarrard wrote, “OMG stop. There is no Halo 3 Anniversary.”

As for what “a little something” means, well we still don’t know. And we might not know until Microsoft’s E3 presser on Sunday, June 11th.
