Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Zombies Chronicles costs $30

4.1
Activision has confirmed the remaining details about the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 add-on, Zombies Chronicles.

The expansion, due for release May 16 on PS4, is priced $30. Typical Call of Duty add-ons cost $15, but Zombies Chronicles comes with more maps than any DLC before it.

Zombies Chronicles includes eight maps, with remastered audio and visuals, as well updated AI. The pack also allows the use of custom weapons, something the original games did not.

Here’s what’s included:

From Call of Duty: World at War: Nacht der Untoten (Abandoned Bunker), Verruckt (Wittenau Sanitorium), and Shi No Numa (Jungle Swamp)
From Call of Duty: Black Ops: Kino Der Toten (Theater of the Dead), Ascension (Soviet Cosmodrome), Shangri-la (Exotic Jungle Shrine), and Moon (Lunar Base)
From Call of Duty: Black Ops 2: Origins (WW 1 France)

This DLC is digital-only, and requires a copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. As a bonus, anyone who purchases Zombies Chronicles will receive:

20 Vials of Liquid Divinium
Two All-New Whimsical GobbleGums
Exclusive Zombies Pack-a-Punch weapon camo
Black Ops 3 Zombies Chronicles PS4 dynamic theme (pre-order exclusive)

Starting May 16, and for eight days, Activision will be hosting the ‘8 Days of the Undead’ event for Black Ops 3 players on all platforms. You’ll be able to earn double XP rewards, as well as other bonuses like a new calling card, weapon camo, new GobbleGums, and more.

Activision has not yet revealed regional pricing, or announced release dates for other platforms. Call of Duty add-ons usually come to PC, and Xbox One a month after the initial PS4 release. Catch the trailer above for a look at the enhanced visuals.

kittyderpy The fact that people think season pass owners should get this for free is mind boggling.

why shouldn't they? a season pass is meant to include all future DLC. Just because one pack is bigger than another doesn't mean they shouldn't be allowed it. If I bought this on steam I would be requesting a refund over false advertisement.

Except if you read the fine print of the season pass it literally says you get access to 4 DLC packs. This is their 5th DLC, so it's outside of the season pass. If you think you should get anything more then you're an idiot

As a season pass holder, I would be surprised if we DIDN'T have to pay. Meaning, I expect to shell out the $30 for this. However, on the Steam Page the Season pass description is this:

The Call of Duty: Black Ops III Season Pass delivers 4 epic DLC map packs in 2016 with all-new multiplayer content, including re-imagined fan-favorite maps from Call of Duty: World at War and the Call of Duty: Black Ops series, plus thrilling Treyarch Zombies content, all for one great price.

It states that it will include re-imagined maps from the old games. That would be the only reason one should expect it. > Note, it states those as extra AFTER the four DLC packs. But it could easily mean The Giant map, which comes with the Season Pass, I believe. Then again, it says maps. Not map. Plural. Hmm.

Either way. I want the DLC, but there is not enough people on PC to play this with and none of my friends are interested in CoD on the PC. Guess I'll have to wait for when I buy my Xbox Scoprio

Um how so? You drop $99+ on a game with not even near sufficient dlc season and then something that's actually worth while comes out as a standalone price of $30 more.. hmm not too happy, would like to relive the old maps in the remastered visuals but not worth it, $30 nah when I can just play the same maps with original visuals with same gameplay... just another COD scam imo..

well this actually blows.. I mean it's still cool but we should not be paying Extra for it :/

Considering I no longer have access to my BO1 maps, and never bought the Bo3 season pass, ill probably consider this on PC

This is the point where I decide that I am not getting this.
I already shelled out 60$ for this game and 50$ for a lack luster season pass.
I was interested in this, but I feel like season pass holders are being shafted here.
