Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has received a brand new update today on the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility. Since it was an emulated game on Xbox One, this update mostly related to the emulation of it on the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility program.

Black Ops 2 was the most requested Call of Duty game for Backwards Compatibility on the Xbox One and it was finally made available to users this month. It proved to be quite a hit as seen in the surge for the online players which peaked at around 130k simultaneous online users once the game was playable on the Xbox One.

This player count was a surprise since it was closer to the newest games like Battlefield 1 and surpassed some of the big hitters like Battlefield 4 and Star Wars Battlefront across all platforms. Perhaps the fans of the game were waiting for this moment in order to jump back into the game.

This new update is just 700 MB on Xbox One and should be downloaded automatically. This update reportedly fixes the anti-aliasing applied in the game that had some issues with jagged edges still being displayed compared to the Xbox 360. There were also reports of input lag being increased on the Xbox One although it remains to be seen if this was fixed in this update.
