Xbox One backward compatibility temporarily going offline

You won’t be able to play Black Ops 2 or any of your Xbox One backwards compatible games during these hours tomorrow.

Microsoft has announced that Xbox Live on Xbox 360, and the backwards compatibility service on Xbox One, will be taken offline for maintenance.

This scheduled maintenance will place tomorrow, April 27 and will last for two hours. It kicks off at 8am GMT, 9am BST, 1am PDT, 4am EDT. During this period, you may not be able to play your Xbox 360 games on Xbox One.

If you’re already in a game, you may get disconnected from Xbox Live. This also means you may have trouble playing games on Xbox 360, in case you have one connected.

Decy I'm pretty sure this is gonna be work on the guide and the way the game launches as they did say a while back that they wanted the 360 titles just to run instead of pulling up parts of the 360 dash and guide with it.

If this is true it would be great, but they need some aspect of the 360 for the "backwards compatibility" not like it was released for the one. They need to have the guide, so the whole backwards compatibility makes sense.

i'm pretty sure Major Nelson stated a while back that they were getting rid of the guide and stuff so that the games play like any other game this is why we are starting to see new game covers for 360 games and stuff everything can be integrated via xbox one also.

I like bringing up my 360 guide though as I don't have my 360 hooked up anymore.
