Sledgehammer Hints At “Secret” Call Of Duty: WWII Location

4.5
As we continue to wait (for at least a couple more days, anyway) on the first official information for Activision’s forthcoming Call of Duty: WWII, more details have trickled out in the form of a new video, posted on the official Twitter account of Sledgehammer Games, the developer behind the forthcoming game.

In the video, the co-founder for the studio, Michael Condrey, provides a brief message from an interesting location, one that he notes is one of the “secret” locations based within the game. Judging by the décor, it definitely appears to be some kind of castle, or maybe even something tied in with a beach – which could indicate we could be making a return to Normandy at some point in the game. But Condrey didn’t admit his location, noting that he would tell more about where the team was at during Wednesday’s premiere video.

You can watch the video below. There’s not too much to tell here, but it shows that Sledgehammer Games is certainly devoted to its development, going out of its way to visit exotic locations in an effort to recapture them within Call of Duty: WWII. Where the location is, we’re not sure, but we’ll know more soon enough.

Maybe we will get to liberate some victims in concentration camps?! That would be pretty gruesome but I would love to see this.

KyloCrux This game is awesome. Just hope they don't copy other game ideas.

How do you know if it's awesome? They haven't revealed anything about it except that it's WWII

It'll be awesome until Activision comes along and bends us over and makes us their b*tch.

-Silky I'm interested to see if this game will be as good as the hype has made it seem, for me this is the last chance COD have to change my mind about the current state of he franchise.

You pretty much hit the hammer on the nail with this comment.

After MW3 (arguably, BO2 as well) - this franchise just changed for the worst. Every Call of Duty since the original black ops has been down hill in my opinion. MW2 and BO2 were okay, but overall the downward progression has led me to not purchase any of the games on release day, I've always waited for sales.

This is also I think the last surrah for me.. They need to prove they've listened to their ginormous community and put an end to pay to win and futuristic BS.

Unfortunately that's how every cod gets. They hype it up all through the summer and boom we get hit with garbage of a game
