CoD World War II: Sledgehammer Has Been Researching WWII for 2 Years

4.8
Following the reveal of the reveal of Call of Duty World War II, Sledgehammer Games published a short video on Twitter, with a comment from Co-Founder Michael Condrey.

Condrey explains that Sledgehammer Games has been researching for the game for the past two and a half year, traveling all over Europe and the world, in order to get the game right.

Interestingly, this could be a hint that the game’s setting will expand beyond the European theater of World War II, even if it’s impossible to be sure at the moment.

You can check out the video below, while we wait for the reveal livestream on April 26th, at 10 AM PDT.

Fibril I dunno, BF1 is already doing this. Why would people want 2 of the same game? If they already have BF1 which is amazing, COD WW2 better offer some amazing stuff :P

Ww1 and ww2 were completely different wars fought in different ways with different ideologies, I guarantee this game will have no ww1 feel.

Firstly, BF1 is WW1 and COD is going to be WW2
Next, They run off of different engines so they will feel and look like completley different games
Finally, each game has a different target audience and cater to that in their own ways.

Comparing BF1 to CoD WW2 is stupid, end of.

Halo
lolohnoeszsz Research doesn't sell a game while it does make it historically accurate to a point in SP it doesn't do much for MP which many many more people will play. Sledgehammer Games last disaster aka Advanced Warfare was a huge turn off for me and they better get this game's MP down otherwise it'll be a worse game than Infinite Warfare.

Honestly, not sure what they can do after COD WW2 as well, they'll need more ideas hahah so they better not screw it up.

I actually want the campaign to be good, good enough to have replay value and be able to play it via co-op like previous games...

Also Infinite Warfare MP wasn't bad imo, similar to BO3. People were just turned off by the space aspect before even buying it, but it felt MUCH better than AW. That goes for Zombies and MP.

Bozzz at least there will finally be a campaign worth playing after the last 3 years.

Campaign's are honestly a waste of time with call of duty in my opinion; its usually just 10 hours or less of content which could be focused on other things.

Campaign is probably one of the most iconic things in Call of Duty, especially for those who were playing since the first Call of Duty's, remember when Soap died? I liked that emotion, something that isn't really in multiplayer.

The only campaign I liked was CoD4. I completed every campaign and non of them live upto CoD4's standards

Ive played every cod and owned them all until advanced warfare. Never once competed a campaign

Disagree completely, I have thoroughly enjoyed CoD campaigns since CoD 4, never gave IW a chance since I hated it but even AW's campaign was v good.
