Call of Duty World War 2 Announcement Coming This Weekend

4.6
It’s that time of the year again where rumours swirl about when the next Call of Duty will be revealed. After artwork and other material leaked for Call of Duty: WWII, it seems that Activision could be officially announcing it this weekend.

As per NeoGAF, IGN teased that some news would be breaking over the weekend and covered next week. Kotaku’s Jason Schreier, who’s been pretty spot-on for leaks on other Activision titles like Destiny, said, “What annualized military shooter series always gets announced during the first or second weekend of the NBA playoffs?”

Then over on Twitter, Schreier added that, “Well I’d venture it starts with a ‘C’ and ends with an ‘all of Duty: WWII’.”

You should take all of this with a grain of salt as usual. Even with Schreier’s track record, there is the odd thing that he got wrong in the past. Regardless, what do you hope to see if Call of Duty: WWII is indeed showcased? Let us know in the comments.

Bozzz Why is everyone complaining about the idea of supply drops in this game, its not like you have to buy them to play the game or anything.

Because it makes the game pay to win in most cases

It is also annoying that someone could just pay in order to get more unique stuff instead of unlocking it by leveling up

Furthermore they also bring totally unrealistic things into the game as seen in BO2 with the ridiculous weapons and that lowers the quality of the game

Saiko "Boots on the ground". Yet are we going to be paying a small fortune for skins, weapon packs, reticles, glowing camos? I think we all miss the old CoDs for the nostalgia of it.

I remember the days of the old CoDs from back in the school days, coming home and jumping on with a crew of 6-8 people to hammer some CoD till the early hours of the morning and then talk about it all day in school the following day.

For me CoD brought in a circle of friends from a wide variety of social circles in a school. And I play and talk to the same circle of friends now just as I did 10 years ago. And I feel many people had a similar situation as me. CoD brung many people together in my opinion in schools which stereotypically was devided into groups such as Alternative/Popular/Scene/Emo groups and games like CoD brought those groups together in the interests as CoD.

Just my opinion.

Literally the same situation at my school. I'd wake up early to get the new game before everyone else(before you could pre-download it) and play several matches before I had to school. Good times.

Because supply drops just ruin the game and make the game look shit, Its meant to be a ww setting not futuristic. Supply drops ruin every cod.
