Most fan-requested features are going live for all Xbox One owners

Some of the Xbox One’s most-requested features have made the leap from the Xbox Insider Program to the public.

These new features, which are rolling out to all Xbox One users today in an update, include an overhaul to players’ profiles and activity feeds. A new “Join Broadcast” button allows viewers to easily jump into the streams of other viewers. In the Activity Feed, meanwhile, you’ll now be able to pin posts to the top of your Feed and hide individual posts you don’t want to see.

The Clubs and LFG (Looking For Group) features have also received an upgrade. As the creator of an LFG post, you’ll be able to see the stats of players requesting to join your party (with the stats being relevant within the context of each individual game). Those seeking parties to complete certain Achievements will now be able to search for other Achievement hunters. Also, if you’ve made a popular LFG post in the past, you’ll be able to copy the settings over to create a new one without having to start from scratch.

Finally, a small change to the “My Games and Apps” section now lets users filter their game library by platform, separating Xbox One from Xbox 360 games.

You can actually do this already. If you go into your settings you can turn cortana off and go back to the original Xbox go home, or Xbox Turn off.

For preview members Microsoft have also changed the 'Showcase' to 'Pin to my feed'

Honestly, I think the fact that these requested features - of all things - are the top requests, shows how good of a state the Xbox One OS is doing right now. Hopefully things can only get better from here!
