Call of Duty Black Ops 2 backward compatibility player count passes 100,000

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 became backward compatible on Xbox One this week and already people are noticing the large influx of gamers on the multiplayer side. While we can verify that there are more than 135,000 gamers currently playing the title, we don't know how many there were before. According to numerous sources, the number was quite low at around 5,000 people.

Black Ops II is not the first Call of Duty game in the Xbox One backwards compatibility library. Others include Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 3, Call of Duty: World At War, and the original Black Ops.

I would have thought there would have been a lot more downloads to be honest as people got sick and tired of people doing modded lobbies on the Xbox 360 so a little surprising

Easily the best competitive COD, will be playing this for sometime unless we start getting booted which is just such a shame. Some mods in public match which also sucks but I really only play league and GB. Hope the next one for current gen is good.

So many people hating on this game right now. its by far better of backwards compatible than remastered. We saw the result of Call Of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered and the games completely ruined. and saying its the worst cod is the understatement of the century it was the most voted game to come back to xbox. People where complaining when this Generation arrived as it had very little games to play compared to 360. in my opinion bringing the games back over via Backwards compatible is only making Xbox be like it use to.

Don't know what the big deal is about this game it's the worst Cod I've ever played including the whole Black Ops Series, I would rather them remaster all the cods instead of bringing them to backwards compatibility because all you get is modders and dickheads booting you offline or resetting your stats, When you have worked hard to be where your at.
