PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has sold over 1 million copies

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, the latest game in the emerging battle royale genre, has already passed one million units sold since it launched just 16 days ago.

Battlegrounds was Steam’s top-seller for more than two weeks, and continues to chart in the top three most played game with around 90,000 concurrent players.

The game is also very big on Twitch, which you can clearly see by visiting Twitch’s front page. It reached over 150,000 concurrent viewers, thanks to the help of over 2,000 streamers.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is currently in Early Access. A full release is expected later this year.

played it for a bit, after the optimization update it was worth it. Hopefully they can get the full copy released by years end.

lbreadstickl I've been watching this on twitch as well even tho I play Xbox. Im getting annoyed of open world grinding games so this would be fun. Heard they had thoughts or plans for Xbox, can't remember if I read that here but my buddies and I would def buy even tho they haven't even seen this yet

I doubt it will come to Xbox although anything can happen with these sorts of games.

Honestly the game has alot of problems and wouldn't of sold anywhere near that if it was not for streamers
