Battlefield 1 Breaks the Premium Play Wall

4.6
DICE announced today that they will now allow owners of Battlefield 1 premium to share the perks of the experience with standard players. ‘Premium Friends’ allows those players who purchased a Premium Pass to invite non-premium players to a party that can play on every map, regardless if they own the content or not.

This gives DLC access to players who haven’t purchased it via their friends who have and allows the whole community to play together as a whole.

A trial run of ‘Premium Friends’ will go live during the upcoming Battlefest that starts on March 30.

This is pretty cool, I wonder if any other games will take notice and follow.

This is actually a very nice change. Hopefully it's help keep the game alive and the premium maps from dying off.

Teovz This is real innovation that should happen all around the gaming industry. Glad they did this and I hope others catch on.

not all franchises have the money like this. IF they did they WOULD lose, mass amounts yearly. This should be worth it and i'll probably be inviting some people throughout the next two days.
