We may see Project Scorpio before E3

Microsoft may host a special event to show off Project Scorpio before E3 in June, according to head of Xbox Phil Spencer.

Speaking to IGN, Spencer said that plans hadn’t been locked down yet, but it would be difficult to share everything about Project Scorpio and also talk about new games during a single press conference.

“I like our E3 show being about games,” he said. “Cleary we’re gonna talk about Scorpio at E3, but I also don’t want to take up the majority of the time doing all things about hardware. So there’s a balance there. I want it on stage. It’s a great opportunity for us.”

Spender added that the exact plans still haven’t been nailed down, but he promised to share details as soon as they are.

Microsoft’s E3 2017 press conference will take place on Sunday, June 11th, at 2 p.m. PT, and will be livetreamed for fans who can’t be there in person.

Project Scorpio is scheduled to launch later this year and will support running games in native 4K with its six teraflops of compute power.

Vader Can't wait for them to release more information on the Scorpio, and revealing more earlier then e3 is a great idea.

Scoprio looks like its going to be amazing, I cant wait.

LSX I got a feeling they are gonna enable all PC games to be playable on it. I really do, but with console version.. with controller etc.. and on a TV screen. If this happens.. take my money, seriously.

That would be really good but hard to intergrate into the console.
