Xbox 360 doesn't have an internet browser because MS can't secure IE

We received an interesting e-mail tip from a self-proclaimed insider at MS regarding the lack of browser on the Xbox 360. From what we're told, MS always wanted to include an internet browser on the Xbox 360, although they can't due to security fears with Internet Explorer. Apparently, MS has security fears over bringing IE to the Xbox 360 and will not consider the use of any other browser because they would be 'losing face'.

Interesting, it is a bit of a shame that it is the only console without such functionality to date.

There is a way to browse the web via media center if you have a newer computer its easy people look into it just because there isnt a standalone app for it who cares ps3 nd wii nd psp web browsers blow donkey balls and are slow anyways
