PS4 Exclusive NiOh Surpasses One Million Shipments

4.6
Today Koei Tecmo announced with a press release that its recently-released Team Ninja-developed action RPG NiOh surpassed one million shipments.

To be more precise, the number includes physical copies shipped and digital downloads worldwide, and it was achieved in two week’s from the game’s launch.

As a “thank you” to the gamers that made the achievement possible, Koei Tecmo announced that it will distribute a “Golden NiOh Armor” DLC to everyone who purchased the game, alongside patch 1.04, that will launch tomorrow, February 24th.

Once installed the patch, players will be able to redeem the armor from the “boons” option of the game. You can see what it looks like in the picture below.

The press release also includes an apology to gamers unable to purchase the physical version of the game, since it’s still sold out at many retailers. Koei Tecmo is currently making efforts to increase production, so that NiOh can be made available in physical form for everyone as soon as possible.

Recently, the publisher announced the update plans for the game, and the first story DLC, titled “Dragon of the North,” will feature Date Masamune, coming in Late April.

I've never heard of this game, gg to them for the big achievement and that's cool of them giving back to the players. More devs should follow what they are doing.
