One of this year’s PS4 exclusives might not be exclusive after all

4.6
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is launching on PlayStation 4 and PS4 Pro later this summer, but it appears it won’t be a permanent exclusive as many originally believed.

The game’s release date was recently announced on the PlayStation Blog as June 30th, 2017, coming to PlayStation 4 and PS4 Pro. PlayStation Ireland later tweeted out that the game would not be multiplatform, leading to some confusion among fans. In an attempt to get everyone on the same page, the same Twitter account followed up with a comment claiming that the game will be coming to PlayStation 4 and PS4 Pro “first.”

Unfortunately, this answer has also raised more questions. The tweet implies that Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will be a timed exclusive on the PlayStation 4/Pro, but it doesn’t clarify if the game will later launch on PlayStation 3 or Vita—unlikely options that would nevertheless still make it a PlayStation exclusive—or if it will later branch out to Xbox One and PC as well. There is also no mention of how long the game would be a timed exclusive.

good, ps4 seems to be getting all the "good" exclusives this year for some reason.

I do own a ps4 but honestly rather play this game on my xbone for the achievements. Really rare of me now to pick anything ps4 related anymore. Glad to see it will be eventually released on Xbox, and PC.

I'd definetly buy crash if it came on to the one tbh

lolohnoeszsz Cool so I can actually enjoy this game on PC at 60 fps. I'll be honest 30 fps in platformer games like Crash are a complete disaster. The low latency always screws with my jump timings.

I feel like this game will have 1080p60 across the board no matter what. I doesn't look graphically intense what so ever.

Nah early Digitial Foundry tests had the game running at 1080p 30 fps. I guess it was to keep it that "nostalgia" factor because the original games were 30 fps.
