Activision makes it sound like Destiny 2 is coming to PC

4.7
After reconfirming that Destiny 2 is gunning for a 2017 release window, publisher Activision announced that the game would target Russia and China for launch—a statement that may be telling.

According to the publisher’s recent financial briefing, it is looking to “broaden the franchise’s global reach,” which includes expanding to new markets. Games like Overwatch have managed to flourish in these more isolated gaming markets, but it has been almost solely on the shoulders of the PC platform. If Destiny 2 is following the same market path, it will likely also launch on PC—something previous rumors have suggested.

For those that were unable to experience the first game, CEO Eric Hirshberg has assured fans that the sequel will be more accessible for casual players without losing touch with the core experience that resonated with the main player base.

Destiny 2 is slated to launch sometime in 2017, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and presumably PC though it is not yet confirmed.

I couldn't really get into the first game, maybe 2 will be different for me.

I couldn't get into the first game because I do not play on console, but I would be amazing if they released this second one to PC as well. Would love to get into it.

I really wish I could have stuck with Destiny. I pust around 250 hours into the game and had a blast. I just dont have the time to lay down 5 hours straight to do raids and such to get good gear.

I really hope that Destiny 2 comes to PC and that my job allows me to get into the game in a way that makes me not throw a fit.

Dismiss It's great they're branching out but Destiny was just awful. The hype died so fast. Number 2 will be the same. Massive hype for release, a week in they'll patch a purple cave then people will get bored and quit.

Away and dont talk shite. Destiny for the past 3 years has been a sensational game to play. Obviously you gave up early when a loot cave wasnt there for you to exploit rather than LFG and grind it with people like the games meant to be played.

I'll wait and see what they are going to change and add to the game itself. I want to see more disc content (doubt it), trading, and a more social atmosphere that other MMORPGS have... I know I am asking a lot, but it's hard to call it an MMO when it has little to no "social features"..

Hated the fact that it was a 1. MMO and 2. Shooter on console. I still play platformers etc. on console, but shooters and MMOs are a PC thing. (It was technically an MMO, though I wouldn't consider it wholly MMO)

as long as they don't port it from console to pc but will mostly do that.

It would be a good experience for PC gamers
