Call of Duty 2017 Is Our Biggest Achievement - Sledgehammer Games

4.5
Call of Duty 2017 has not been officially announced yet – hell, we don’t even have a name or even a single screenshot to associate with the game – but news about it has been trickling in more and more with each passing day.

Developers Sledgehammer Games have also recently taken to Twitter to talk about the game and how they can’t wait to talk about it, and they also say it is their “biggest achievement as game makers.” While that sounds like a bold statement, it should be noted that the only other game they’ve developed was Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

Activision recently also spoke a little bit about the upcoming Call of Duty title, and while they didn’t say much or anything too specific, they did confirm that the game will be more of an old school Call of Duty experience, moving away from Infinite Warfare’s space setting and going for a more traditional approach to combat.

They say it every year man get a grip.

They say that every time they make a new cod. Infinite warfare "better gameplay" my ass.

I am truly hoping this is back to boots on the ground, gun warfare. I miss MW2 and a bunch of others truly dislike the Halo jumping they basically added from AW on.

I like Infinite Warfare's campaign that's about it. Ghosts was kinda dull for me but it makes me think it was underrated after having to play Black Ops 3 & Infinite Warfare.

Snow Call of Duty is just such a failure. They expect me to try the next game with the taste of infinite warshit in my mouth.

Same thought as you. I followed the series very close since MW2 until Ghosts came out. I played Ghosts for 3 weeks and then sold it back to Best Buy. Never played Advanced Warfare but then tried BO3 and fell back in love with COD. Now I am back in the same boat with Infinite Warfare. I think the game is terrible and I dont feel like even trying the next COD.

B19 It's never gonna be like it once was back in the day. It's sad but true. If you were around for cod4 on its release and mw2 and bo1 you know that awesome feeling.

Dude this is as true as it gets, haven't felt that way about a game since Mw2.

The days were you'd wait outside the shop if you didn't preorder it, countless days playing non stop. With all your pals? Yeah I remember those days.

Mickers It's good to see we will be back on the floor, however is it a little too late now BF1 mastered it?

no it won't be too late. COD has a bigger fanbase.
