A major update is coming to Battlefield 1, which could potentially introduce the shooter’s first expansion, They Shall Not Pass.

The update was teased on the official Battlefield Twitter account with an image claiming that it will drop next week.

No information was provided regarding what the update will include. While the official launch of They Shall Not Pass is slated for March, and no mention of it is made in the tweet, Premium members are seeing the expansion two weeks early which could feasibly align it with this update. If not, fans can at least expect some significant adjustments coming to the game, similar to those seen in the fall update.

Some of the changes have likely been teased by the recently launched community test environment which is featuring ribbon rewards, a max class rank increase to 50, and map voting.
