Sega dates, prices Sonic 4 EP1

Sega has dated and priced the first release in the episodic Sonic 4 saga.

The publisher delayed the episode just before the summer, saying more time was needed to ‘ensure higher overall quality’, but looks like there’s quite enough of that: Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode I will release on the iTunes App Store on October 7, Wii Shop Channel on October 11 (the 15th in EMEA territories), the US PlayStation Network on October 12 (the 13th in EMEA), and Xbox Live Arcade on October 13.

The attached prices will be: 1500 Wii Points on WiiWare, 1200 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live Arcade, and $14.99 / £9.99 / €12.99 / AU$19.95 on the PlayStation Network.
