Two more games join Xbox one backwards compatibility

4.6
Two new games have just joined the Xbox backward compatibility list, and they couldn’t be more different.

First up is Shadows of the Damned, Grasshopper Manufacture’s tale of a demon hunter in the City of the Damned. Garcia Hotspur, along with his motorcycle demon sidekick Johnson, chases the Lord of Demons back to the underworld in this M-rated action adventure.

Next is Rocket Knight, the cartoony revival of the Sparkster series. Use a jetpack and sword to navigate this 2.5D platformer as Sparkster, the eponymous opossum knight.

As always, if you already owned either of these games, then you should be set to start playing on your Xbox One. And, if you want a taste of psychological horror, don’t forget to check out this week’s earlier offering of Alice: Madness Returns.

Rx-ChAoZz How is it that people still don't realise that BO2 isn't coming to the Xbox One backwards compatible list until Activision allows it too.

You are also wrong pal. It will probably not become BC, why not remaster and make twice the profit?

People do realise that but we still want it, Activision and every other company that works with CoD are money grabbers and it confuses me as to why they wouldn't make it back compat as that would bring in money.

I truthfully think it might have something to do with being careful not making backwards compatible games that are popular to mod on the 360. I figured WaW was more or less of a test to see how it would work out and WaW is difficult to find a legit game in even on the XB1 since people on 360 are modding. BO1 made sense since it is almost never modded in public games. The way I see it, they are just going to keep "remastering" the CODs until all of them can be played exclusively on the XB1 as this would prevent modding. So be ready for a MW2 Remastered announcement in a year along with the next COD, and then BO2 the year after. That's what I expect anyway.

DutchBrowniemix Not interesting. Still dont get it why people love black ops 2 that much. I hated the multiplayer.
