Nintendo Switch: Players Can Upgrade To 2TB Storage With SD Card
Instead, users will be able to get a 2TB SD Card. Game Reactor Spain learned about the ability to upgrade the memory using these cards, which reminds gamers of the way they can upgrade the Nintendo 3DS’s memory.
The PS4 and Xbox One are just starting to offer the ability to have that kind of storage, so it’s clear Nintendo has been thinking about ways it can become competitive in this market. With pre-orders now available at stores like Walmart, we’ll soon see whether these features are going to drive big-time sales.

RemeAmazeOasisProJimmyRustler Most companies, if any do not make a 2TB sd card. The highest capacity that Amazon has in stock is 256GB and those sale anywhere from 200-250$ according to Samsung's website.
If you take in to consideration that a current gen AAA title takes 50GB+ that means that you can only load 1 big game, or a few small games onto a 64GB sd card (which costs around 20$), you start adding up costs really fast just to store games. That doesn't even include the performance hit that you take from running a game on an SD card.
What exactly do you know about performance then? I doubt much. The Switch accepts SDXC cards. Nintendo need to confirm but usually SDXC devices can also use SD memory cards and SDHC memory cards.
My search shows me that SanDisk Extreme PRO 128GB up to 95MB/s UHS-I/U3 SDXC Flash Memory Card is $63 or 256GB for $143. A 2TB SDXC card doesn't exist at the moment but when it does the Switch will accept it.
Also....you do realise all the switch games are on versions of sd cards right?
Long time no see Oasis! See you're still trying to make a dent on the morons that frequent this website lol!
P.S everytime i read a comment and think, ah finally someone new talking sense, i then look at the username and see yours ffs haha
Cheers RemeAmaze, yeah long time! I'm always on pm . I'm here watching, waiting. You know me sometimes I just can't let people spread lies. Especially when it hurts a console that's not even in the publics hands yet. I'm pretty sure we all like games in one state or another, there's no reason to try and spread misinformation just because you might not end up owning the system yourself. Damn you Reme! Now you got me in a rant!

Also I forgot to tell you that most WiiU games were around 10-15GB. Even if that changes with the switch to an average of 20/25/30GB that's still good numbers.
