Borderlands: The Handsome Collection listed as free on the Xbox Store [Update]

4.6
Borderlands: The Handsome Collection is currently playable for free on the Xbox Store including Xbox Live member without Gold.

All Xbox Live members can go online this weekend free during the Multiplayer All Access event that starts today and goes until Sunday, October 30th on Xbox one and Xbox 360.

Major Nelson announced on Twitter that Borderlands: The Handsome Collection is available throughout the entire weekend as a Free Play title.

Original story:

Borderlands: The Handsome Collection Unlock Bundle which is a bundle containing Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is currently listed as free on the Xbox Store on the Xbox One. This could either be a massive price error or it is apart of a free to play weekend. There has been no confirmation on either.

This wouldn't be the first time we saw a pricing error on the Xbox Store. Back in June, the digital deluxe bundle of Fallout 4 which contained the season pass was listed as free. Microsoft then issued everyone who downloaded the game with a $10 credit to their Microsoft account balance.

You can check out the listing here.

We'll keep you updated if there is any more information.

Great games! Hope this is true for the people that haven't played them yet.

Is this for Xbox One or Xbox 360?

The Bundle is discounted for me, but I'm able to download Borderlands 2 for free.
