PS4 firmware update 4.05 released today

Sony has released a brand new system software update for the PlayStation 4 today. The changelog lists that it improves the system performance. In order to play online, you will have to be on this newest firmware update.

The size of the update is around 297MB and should be available in all regions. If you have not received the update, you can manually get it by going into the settings menu.

Here is what the latest changelog states for version 4.05:

    Lost Surprised there's nothing more to the update. You'd think they'd be working on adding more features, ease of use stuff as well.


    Agreed, I don't see much of a difference, my interface and everything else seems to load up the same speed.
