Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will have 10 Prestiges

In an interview PlayStation Lifestyle, Infinity Ward’s multiplayer Project Director Jordan Hirsh has stated that they are planning to have 10 total prestiges in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

After each prestige, you will get an unlock token similar to previous Call of Duty titles. He also said in his response that the number of prestiges could increase based upon feedback in the future, but they do not have anything to announce as of now.

The Prestige system as it stands is pretty similar to what players have seen in the past and experienced. So as you Prestige you’ll unlock a Prestige token, and be able to bring over with you one item that would normally be gated via your player rank. Maximum Prestige right now that we’re planning is 10. That’s subject to change based on how things go in the future. We can adjust our experience curve, and we want that experience to be good for pretty much everybody.

FibreOp I really don't want to pay any money on IW at all, I'm hoping COD4 remaster will be purchasable later after launch. Then I'll buy it (COD4 remastered that is)

I doubt it will be cause their on the same disc but you never know.

With the amount of different unlocks IW supposedly has, I guess the level cap will be 70 before having to prestige.

The only players I see even getting 10th prestige on iw is ppl like Tmartn. I'll be on cod4

10 prestige's is enough. I think black ops 3 did way to much then it was a good call on their part since it's a 3 year cycle for them user won't be bored of their game.

Skates Just keep it at 10, they only raise the prestiges because the game starts to die and they want people to keep playing their trash game so they do some stunt like adding more prestiges. Look at Bo3 with dark matter, hero gear, mater prestige lvl 1000. All ways of Activision trying to keep us playing their game.

Don't be an idiot, no one is making you play the game. They add these because the community demands it then as soon and they do it everyone complains it's money grabbing tactics
